I just got finished watching this documentary, and its fucking awesome! I realize that most people dont give a shit about hobbits, wizards or orcs, or maybe its super cool now to be into middle earth type shit because every shithead hipster thinks they are some walking authority of psychedlia and the latest obscure band that has the faintest reference of Hawkwind, Gong, Rush or tyrannosaurus rex. I could give a flying fuck. I love J.R.R. Tolkien and this documentary has a lot of content beyond the blockbuster movie madness and delves into what the books mean and represent to the individual and how Tolkien helped shape 60's and 70's counter culture through 5 of the greatest books ever written. It may be a bunch of nerds or psycho fans but who the hell is'nt one or two of the latter in one way or another?
